Model aircraft engine carburettor and silencer
The SC25 carburettor and silencer assemblies.
This SC25 engine uses a conventional twin needle carburettor (main and idle needles). A rotating barrell throttle is used and the whole assembly is secured into the cankcase by a single pinchbolt.
Needle valves adjust smoothly and locate firmly into postion against the steel spring clips (wandering needle valves shoudn't be a problem on this model engine).

The silencer is again a typical example of what's fitted to modern engines. It's a through bolt secured alloy unit with no baffles and a rotatable rear exhaust cone. A pressure nipple is screwed into place on the silencer for fuel tank pressurisation.
That just about covers the component parts of this simple little model aircaft 2 stroke engine. In summary it's a well made typical model aero engine with a good fit of components and all the standard features of a model 2 stroke.
